Jamaica is an island country in the Caribbean, situated south of Cuba and west of the island of Hispaniola. Visitors to Jamaica have plenty of choices when it comes to exploring this lush tropical island. There are three main resort areas in Jamaica. Negril boasts the finest beaches with long expanses that you can freely stroll on. Bloody Bay is a charming secluded bay with several resorts. Resorts in Ocho Rios are approximately 2 hours away from the Montego Bay airport and are slightly more remote, you can use the beach at your resort or visit public beaches. You are nearer to the capital city of Kingston, the Blue Mountains, Port Antonio, and Dunn's River if you choose to stay in Ocho Rios. Meanwhile, Montego Bay has resorts that are closest to the airport. Some of the most beautiful properties in Jamaica are located between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
